I PREZIOSI - 10 MilMil 10

Enclosed within this box is a testament to our mission and heritage, a token of the craftsmanship in the pursuit of outstanding excellence: 10 Milmil 10.
10 Milmil 10 is synonymous with 10 micron, which is the average fineness of the wool fibre.

Superfine Merino Wool represents less than 5% of global production, but it requires decades of investments, selections, and dedication to achieve such a fineness, that embodies the furthest refinement of this fibre.

Since 1963 Zegna has supported trophies and awards that recognize the quality, performance, and innovation that Australian wool is known for around the world and across the industry. Our commitment to recognize and select the finest farms producing Superfine Merino Wool is aimed at ensuring that every parameter of quality is met, not just fineness. Each year, the winning wool fleeces are rigorously judged against a strict set of criteria, including style, strength, colour, and evenness.

This meticulous process allows us to identify a selected group of passionate woolgrowers who dedicate themselves to the art of producing exceptional wool.

The best of these carefully nurtured fleeces are not immediately transformed. Instead, the finest fleeces are meticulously stored and collected for 3 to 5 years until we reach the minimum quantity required for a production lot, approximately 50 kilograms.

Only then do we begin the process of transforming this exceptional material into our finest cloth: 10 Milmil 10.

More than one century of craftmanship, innovation and experience is the premise that allows Lanificio Ermenegildo Zegna to process such a wool to accomplish this outstanding fabric. Within this box, you hold a sample of this pinnacle.

There are only a limited number of lengths available, each one numbered and reserved for the few greatest tailors of the world.
This fabric is more than mere material; it is an invitation to own a piece of art, a unique suit that becomes a cherished asset in a lifetime wardrobe.
In 10 Milmil 10 every thread weaves a story of dedication, passion, and uncompromising quality.
