Trofeo Denim - The Classic with a Timeless Style
The Trofeo label groups all the qualities produced with special, very fine and precious wools. These wools are selected and purchased by the Lanificio Ermenegildo Zegna directly from their country of origin. Trofeo® owes its name to the award events organized by Ermenegildo Zegna in Australia since 1963, awarding a prize to the best producer of superfine wool.
The wool lots are judged according to very strict parameters and only one lot per season 1s awarded the prestigious Ermenegildo Zegna Prize. These fabrics have a very soft and silky feel and are ideal for formal and elegant garments.
Recently, the qualities have been restyled, the warp yarn is finer both in wool count and fineness and thanks to a new "compact" spinning process the yarns are more uniform and cleaner; this conveys the fabric a finer grain, a smoother and polished look as well as a softer and silky feel.
