The Company has been established since 1893 when a Young man from Lecco, Alfredo Redaelli, decided, afterfew years of study and work on the weaving sys- tems used in France and Germany, to start in Rancio, near Lecco, thefirm REDAELLI-FINZI-PERRIER & C., the first mechanical weaving mill for velvet production, later changed into Società Anonima ALFREDO REDAELLI. In 1912 Alfredo Redaelli opened a factory in Mandello Lario consolidating his firm's position in industrial manufacturing in Italy. The high quality of products has always been the main characteristic of afirm highly regarded by famous Europeans, Americans and Japanese stylists. Marvellous upholsteries have been created in renowned private homes and in important theatres as Milans La Scala and Carlo Felice in Genoa.
