Mtr. 2.00 Arcolaio Silk Fabric Prince of Wales Brown Ermenegildo Zegna

New typology made of pure silk with a yarn composed of two components. A component is a silk produced in the Chinese province of Zhejiang with the spinning wheel, the cocoons are unraveled by hand in cold water, spread on the ground in the form of a veil, paired in two heads and spun by hand, a rare and exclusive process. In Japan, very exclusive kimonos called Tsumugi were made with this thread. The second component is a heavy silk produced in the Sichuan province by Chinese farmers, always spun by hand. The union of these threads was made with special processes on twisting machines specially prepared in order to be able to give a product that preserves the irregular and unique characteristics of the hand-spun products. These yarns create a particularly exclusive fabric precious for the most demanding customers.
